Hello, Our mum had been suffering from Sarcoidosis for about 15 years, this "burned itself out" but left her lungs with lots of scar tissue (fibrosis), she then developed Bronchiectasis. Mum lost her brave battle on Saturday 13th November 2010. We have requested family flowers at her funeral on 25th November but if anyone wishes they can make a donation to the British Lung Foundation.
